Leaping Into Animation Without a Safety Net
Embarking on a journey driven by sheer passion, I ventured into the animation industry without formal training in script or screenplay writing.
During the COVID-19 lockdown, I reached out to various animation studios, aiming to channel my creativity productively. To my delight, Reliance Animation, one of India's premier studios, responded positively. Through their then-content head, Ruve Narang, I was introduced to Yash Thakur, the showrunner of Smaashhing Simmba.
Embarking on a journey driven by sheer passion, I ventured into the animation industry without formal training in script or screenplay writing.

Collaborating with creative teams from Warner Bros. Discovery, Reliance Animation, and Rohit Shetty Productionz was an invaluable experience that expanded my horizons and deepened my understanding of production dynamics.
Despite my unconventional background, the team recognized my ability to infuse humor and connect with a young audience. This trust led me to contribute significantly to the series, penning 50 episodes over five seasons. I had the creative freedom to introduce new characters and craft innovative storylines, enriching the show's narrative.

The series' popularity transcended age groups, resonating with both kids and adults. Its success was further cemented when it won the Best Bollywood Inspired IP at the 2023 Animation Xpress ANN Awards.
The show's influence stretched beyond television, inspiring an Android game, Smaashhing Simmba - Skateboard Rush, allowing fans to interactively engage with their favorite character.
